Biocompatible Materials
ATLANTIS™ abutments allow you the freedom to choose among biocompatible materials for each case. ATLANTIS™ abutments for cement-retained restorations are produced in titanium, gold-shaded titanium and four shades of zirconia. ATLANTIS Crown Abutment, for screw-retained restorations, are currently produced in five shades of zirconia including a new translucent white exclusively available for the ATLANTIS crown abutment. Each abutment is precision-machined from a solid blank of medical grade titanium alloy or zirconia.
Titanium

ATLANTIS™ Abutment in, titanium is among the first CAD/CAM abutments anatomically designed for each patient. Thanks to CAD/CAM precision and manufacturing, the need for hand modification by a technician or a clinician is eliminated.
Indications: ATLANTIS™ Abutment in titanium is ideal for all positions in the mouth, when strength is of primary importance.
Material: Biocompatible titanium alloy 6Al-4V (Grade 5).
Gold-shaded Titanium

ATLANTIS™ Abutment in gold-shaded titanium features a thin coating of biocompatible titanium nitride that provides a warm esthetic tone under gingiva, in addition to possessing the properties of ATLANTIS™ abutment, titanium. The titanium nitride coating covers the entire abutment except for contact area between the abutment/implant and screw/abutment.
Indications: ATLANTIS™ Abutment in gold-shaded titanium is ideal for esthetically challenging cases with thin soft tissue, or when using an all-ceramic crown, in all positions of the mouth.
Material: Biocompatible titanium alloy 6Al-4V (Grade 5) with titanium nitride (TiN) coating.
Zirconia

Available in four shades, ATLANTIS™ abutments in zirconia is milled from a solid blank of zirconia, which provides excellent strength, durability and esthetics. Zirconia offers a natural tooth color and excellent biocompatibility. ATLANTIS™ abutment in zirconia is one of the few all-zirconia engineered abutments currently on the market.
Indications: ATLANTIS™ abutment in zirconia, with an all-ceramic crown, is ideal for esthetics in pre-molar to pre-molar indications, especially in cases with thin soft tissue or in situations where soft tissue migration occurs.
Material: Biocompatible white and shaded, yttria-stabilized tetragonal zirconia polycrystals (Y-TZP).
